Comment Policy

Okay, so we’re not here to play censorship or be all dictatorial with our comment policy, but we do know that if we don’t spell it out in plain English, we’re bound to run into problems. We really hate having to lay down “rules” but we promise, they’re pretty easy to follow. The whole purpose is to encourage comments of value, and keep a friendly atmosphere.

  1. Spammers and comments made solely for the purpose of getting a link in there to your own site (ie. “Thanks! Great Site!” and nothing more than that) are going to be deleted without question. We want conversation, community, and fun. We hate spam and we’re pretty sure that the people we DO want to hang around here hate it too.
  2. Please be polite. Yes, there are times in a heated debate where words may fly, but when they become vile, rude, or attacking on an author or other commenter – they will get deleted. A sure sign of a lack of intelligence is the inability to convey a point without extreme profanity. If you want people to take you and your opinions seriously, try respectfully stating your point without it.
  3. We don’t mind if you have a link that would add further to the discussion or the topic of a post, but if it’s not really relevant then it’s probably going to get deleted. Take note, there’s a perfect place to put your blog or website address in the comment form once already. You don’t need to put it in the comment a second time.

Bottom line is this: We work hard on this project, and we simply won’t tolerate rude, disrespectful behavior. We’re by no means goody-goodies but we really love this project like a child, and we have to demand that it be treated with respect.

Now that you’ve taken the time to read this (and for that, we’re truly grateful) go read, comment, and have fun!

Thanks,
ATL Mgmt. ;)
